Inter’s preseason training is set to begin on July 5 or 6 this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the team will begin preparations for next campaign early in July.

After today, the Nerazzurri will not be using their training ground for the next few weeks, and will turn it over to the Italian women’s national team as they prepare for this summer’s Women’s Euros.

The players will be given time off after this evening’s clash with Sampdoria in Serie A, the final game in an exhausting season which has seen the Nerazzurri play over fifty matches across all competitions including several extra times.

Next season’s Serie A campaign is set to begin on August 14, and the players will return to training a little over a month before then, on July 5 or 6.

No preseason tour of the US or China is currently planned, with a 1-2 day tour of Europe looking likelier.
