Inter will extend the contract of head coach Simone Inzaghi until the end of June 2024, with the option of a further season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are all set to offer the coach a new deal which would see him stay on until the end of June 2025 potentially.

Inzaghi’s current deal runs until the end of next June, but the club are already fully convinced that the former Lazio manager is the right man to continue with going into the future.

The club’s contract offer will be for a new deal worth a net of €5.5 million per season until the end of June 2024 with the option of an additional season.

The coach is set to meet with the club tomorrow in a summit to start planning for next season, and his new contract will be one of the first orders of business.
