Inter have agreed terms on a contract extension until the end of June 2024, with the option of a further season, with coach Simone Inzaghi.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the coach has not yet signed the new deal, but that everything is in place as far as the agreement goes.

Inzaghi met with club President Steven Zhang and the directors this afternoon where the coach’s future was discussed as well as beginning preparations for next season and outlining the transfer strategy for the summer window.

Inzaghi’s future was a key topic of discussion, and an agreement was reached on the new deal that he will sign soon.

The coach’s current deal is set to run out at the end of June 2023, but he will sign an extension that will take him until the end of June 2024 with the option of a further season until the end of June 2025.
