Inter have already set a new record for season ticket sales ahead of the upcoming Serie A campaign.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the previous record for season ticket sales for a campaign has already been broken by the amount purchased for next season.

The previous season for the Nerazzurri has only just finished, but expectation is already high for next campaign, perhaps heightened by the sense that the team came desperately close to winning the Serie A title before falling short on the final day.

There is evidently no lack of interest or enthusiasm from fans, who have already broken the record for season ticket sales for the club ahead of next campaign.

The team can expect to enjoy significant support at the San Siro next season, something which already played an important role in the season just gone which was the first with fans in stadiums after more than a year playing in front of empty stands.
