Inter wingback Robin Gosens has not yet established himself at his best in a Nerazzurri shirt, as injuries and the outstanding form of Ivan Perisic have kept him out of the starting eleven since his arrival from Atalanta in January.

However, the 27-year-old has already enjoyed some memorable moments at the club including his goal against AC Milan in the Coppa Italia last month.

Writing to fans from his Instagram account, Gosens assured that it has not been a year wasted and that he has grown a lot for next season.

His message reads, “Personally, the most difficult season of my career has ended. Out for almost half of the season, recovering from a serious injury was a huge challenge.”

“Duuring that time, however, I moved to one of the biggest clubs in the world, which also gave me the first trophy of my career. This makes me very proud.”

“And even though I didn’t play as much as I would have wanted, I grew a lot here. I really want to prove my worth and I’ll do everything to make myself ready for the challenges that await us next season. Thanks for the support!”

“Let’s get ready! Lets goooo!”
