Inter defender Stefan de Vrij is expected to stay at the club if Alessandro Bastoni is sold whilst Milan Skriniar will sign a new contract, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, Alessandro Bastoni looks like the most likely candidate to be sold by the club this summer in order to help the financial situation.

In the event of that happening, it is hard to picture the club also sanctioning the sale of Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij despite him being linked with a move away throughout the season.

They also won’t be parting ways with Milan Skriniar as talks for his new contract have been ongoing and there is scope for that deal to be wrapped up in a short amount of time.

A host of names have appeared as replacements for the Italian such as Gleison Bremer, Marcos Senesi, Pau Torres and Josko Gvardiol.
