Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has made his desire to re-join Inter this summer clear and is willing to cut his wages in half in order to facilitate a move.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 29-year-old only has returning to the Nerazzurri in his mind for next season, but that it will remain to be seen if an agreement can be found with his current club.

Lukaku has made no secret of his desire to return to Inter in Serie A after a difficult period settling in at Chelsea, although one of the major stumbling blocks has always been the high wages he earns in London, around €15 million net per season.

However, the Belgian would be willing to lower his salary to around €7 million net per season if it were to make a return to Inter possible.

It remains to be seen whether the Blues would be willing to make a deal for Lukaku on terms that Inter could afford, given that they outlayed €115 million to bring the striker in from the Nerazzurri last summer.
