Inter could reignite their pursuit of Borussia Monchengladbach wingback Ramy Bensebaini now that Ivan Perisic is set to depart, but they would face the competition of Borussia Dortmund for his signature.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are thinking about a move for the 27-year-old to reinforce the left side of their team, particularly Sporting Director Piero Ausilio.

With Perisic’s move to Tottenham Hotspur on a free transfer all but confirmed, Inter are getting ready for life without the 33-year-old who was one of their outstanding players last season, and they are assessing the profiles who can strengthen in the position alongside Robin Gosens.

In addition to several young Italian players, the club are also thinking about Bensebaini, a player who they had already been targeting before they moved on to Robin Gosens in January.

For the Algerian’s signature they would face the competition of Borussia Dortmund, however, who already have an informal agreement with the player.
