AC Milan are not seriously targeting Torino defender Bremer, and Inter are still the team in pole position for his signature this summer.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Rossoneri prefer a move for Lille’s Sven Botman to reinforce their backline and that they will not rival Inter for Bremer.

The Nerazzurri have long been strongly linked with a move for Bremer, having already agreed personal terms with the Brazilian but still needing to get a deal over the line with his current club.

The move for Bremer is still on standby as the Nerazzurri attend to other matters in the transfer market, but they are still poised to get a deal done when they are ready to.

Paris Saint-Germain would have been the one club who may have seriously rivalled Inter for the 25-year-old’s signature, but the Parisians’ interest has cooled following the departure of Leonardo as Sporting Director and his replacement with Luis Campos.
