Inter are set to meet with Torino this week for another round of talks concerning their pursuit of defender Bremer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are planning to step up their pursuit of the 25-year-old regardless of whether or not Alessandro Bastoni is sold.

Bremer has long been identified as one of Inter’s priority targets for the summer transfer window, as the Brazilian is seen as the ideal candidate to add quality to the back three.

There has long been an agreement in place with the player, but the Granata still need to be convinced on a deal, something which the Nerazzurri will look to make inroads on in talks this week.

Should Bremer be signed he would not be seen as a replacement for Alessandro Bastoni even if the 23-year-old is to be sold, and Feyenoord’s Marcos Senesi remains the main target to directly replace Bastoni.
