Inter are seriously interested in signing Bologna midfielder Jerdy Schouten this summer, and could offer one of young strikers Martian Satriano or Sebastiano Esposito as part of a deal for him.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Dutchman’s agent will be in Italy and the Nerazzurri will try and see about signing him.

A midfielder capable of backing up Marcelo Brozovic is one of Inter’s priorities for the summer transfer window, and Schouten’s performances for the Rossoblu last season suggest that he could be the right profile in this respect.

Bologna would not be keen to sell Schouten and would certainly hold firm to their valuation of no less than €15 million, but Inter could try to convince them with a player-plus-cash offer.

Young strikers Satriano and Esposito are both returning from loan and could be offered to the Emilian club as part of a deal, whilst they would also be interested in Andrea Pinamonti in the event that Marco Arnautovic is sold.
