Everything is fully in place for Inter to extend the contract of head coach Simone Inzaghi, and only the signature remains to make it official.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri have agreed terms with the 46-year-old on a new deal until the end of June 2024.

The Nerazzurri have been in talks with Inzaghi about a contract extension for some time, with extending the former Lazio boss’s deal past the end of June 2023 a priority.

The agreement has not yet been formalized, but the talks have gone positively and no more details need to be worked out as the contract is ready to be signed.

Soon, the 46-year-old will put pen to paper on a deal which takes him until the end of June 2024 and increases his wages from €4 million net per season to €5.5 million net, with the coach and club ready to commit to the future together.
