Paulo Dybala’s tearful outburst upon his departure from Juventus was little more than a display of “crocodile tears” with the player set to join rivals Inter, according to Italian media.

Today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport argues that the sincerity of the 28-year-old’s farewell from the Bianconeri is doubtful considering how quickly he has turned around and decided to join Inter.

Dybala leaves Juventus after seven seasons, having failed to agree a contract extension with the club where he had had many ups and downs, winning several Scudetti and reaching a Champions League final.

The Argentine didn’t hide his emotion in his farewell match in front of the Bianconeri faithful, leaving the pitch in tears to a big ovation in his final home match in Turin against Lazio.

However, Dybala has now made his decision on his future, and will quickly move on from his old club by joining one of their biggest Italian rivals in the form of the Nerazzurri.

There are suggestions that the 28-year-old is aiming to get one over on his former team and make them regret the decision to allow him to leave, and this is his chief reason for joining Inter.

At any rate, Tuttosport suggests, the Argentine is showing with the fact that he has prioritized a move to Inter that he is not so attached to the Bianconeri as his tearful farewell may have suggested.
