Inter have identified Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Cagliari’s Ederson as replacements for Roberto Gagliardini should he leave the club this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that there are not currently any offers for Gagliardini, but that a departure would still be possible during the summer transfer window.

Gagliardini has communicated to the Nerazzurri that he wants more playing time going into next season, and that he would be open to a move away this summer in order to get it.

As it stands, Inter have not received any offers for the 28-year-old, but there is still plenty of time left in the transfer window and there is interest in his signature.

Should Gagliardini be sold, the Nerazzurri would then move for either Loftus-Cheek or Ederson, who they have identified as suitable replacements in terms of their style of play.
