Inter will hand defender Milan Skriniar a contract extension until the end of June 2026 if he is not sold to Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri will look to tie the 27-year-old down to a new long-term contract if he is not sold this summer.
Skriniar’s current contract is set to expire at the end of June 2023 and so the Nerazzurri will certainly not want to go into the final year of his deal without having agreed a new deal with him.
PSG could sign the Slovak defender, as they are currently pushing to try and find an agreement with the Nerazzurri, but should this not come to pass then Skriniar’s deal will be extended.
The defender currently earns around €4 million net per season, but this would be increased to €5 million net per season on a new contract until the end of June 2026.
