Inter are getting ready to see the squad significantly reshaped going into next season, with multiple players either having departed or close to the exit door and signings on the way to take their place.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that there are eight certain departures as part of the “summer squad revolution” and that more could follow them.

Goalkeeper Andrei Radu, defenders Andrea Ranocchia and Alexandar Kolarov, wingback Ivan Perisic, midfielders Matias Vecino and Arturo Vidal, and forwards Alexis Sanchez and Felipe Caicedo all finished the last season as Inter players but will not be at the start of next season.

Meanwhile, more departures could be on the way, with Stefan de Vrij linked with a sale to Manchester United whilst Roberto Gagliardini and Joaquin Correa are also linked with exits and Milan Skriniar and Dumfries are currently the two main candidates for a big money sale.

The club are of course preparing a number of signings to target key areas in the squad and to make up the numbers with the number of players on the way out, and even if the spine of the team remains largely the same as last season, it will be a very different-looking team.
