Italian Journalist Enrico Mentana: “Wouldn’t Want To Be In Suning’s Shoes If One Of Skriniar, Bastoni Or Barella Sold This Summer”

Italian journalist Enrico Mentana believes that Inter’s owners Suning will invite massive unrest among the team’s fans if they are to allow any of Milan Skriniar, Alessandro Bastoni, or Nicolo Barella to be sold this summer.

Writing on his Instagram account, Mentana predicted a very harsh response from the Nerazzurri supporters in the event that the owners allow one of those three players to be sacrificed for a big fee during the transfer window.

As with last summer, Inter are linked with a big name sale in order to meet the target of a net profit this summer, although it is not yet clear who they will decide to cash in on as they consider the offers in front of them.

Skriniar has been strongly linked to Paris Saint-Germain in recent days whilst Bastoni has been the subject of transfer rumours over the past few weeks, and Barella’s name cannot be taken completely off the table either.

If any of the trio are to be sold, Mentana writes that “If any of these three are sold, I wouldn’t want to be in the shoes of Inter’s owners.”
