Agent Oscar Damiani has given updates on two of his clients currently at Inter, midfielder Lucien Agoume and goalkeeper Andrei Radu.
Speaking to Italian broadcaster Radio Radio, Damiani explained that Agoume’s future should be decided within the next week or so whilst Radu is currently being targeted by a French club which he is not yet able to name.
Along with signings and possible big name sales, Inter are also working on finding the right destinations for some fringe players in the squad, either in permanent sales or on loan.
Agoume is a player who enjoyed a positive loan spell with Brest in Ligue 1 last summer, and according to Damiani the Nerazzurri will decide on the next step for him very soon as he seeks to further find his feet within senior football.
“Agoume perhaps doesn’t get the recognition that he deserves, but he can become a great regista,” the agent said.
“In seven to ten days we will decide on his future,” he added. “There are loan requests from teams in Serie A, but also foreign clubs ready to buy him permanently from Inter.”
Meanwhile, Radu doesn’t look to have a future at the Nerazzurri after barely having featured last season behind Samir Handanovic, while Andre Onana is also set to arrive in goal this summer.
Damiani updated on the 25-year-old’s situation, stating that “We’re working for next season, we have an opportunity. In France there’s a team that I can’t yet reveal ready to make him an offer.”
The agent added that “He’d still remain in Italy, he wants to fight for his place and have opportunities to show what he can do. Inter are known for valuing their young players, we’ll talk about them.”
