Inter would likely have to offload one of Edin Dzeko or Joaquin Correa in the event that Romelu Lukaku returns on loan from Chelsea, and Correa has no intention of leaving.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that it could be up to Dzeko whether he wants to stay or go should the Belgian be signed.

Dzeko and Correa were both signed last season in the aftermath of Lukaku’s big money move to Chelsea, but one of the pair could already be on their way out to make space for a return of the 29-year-old.

Correa has made clear that his preference is to stay on at the club, and he could be kept in the squad for next season accordingly.

This could mean that it is up to Dzeko, and while the 36-year-old could decide to stay, he could also think of the possibility of finding more playing time elsewhere.

Even Juventus would be a possible destination for the Bosnian, given that the Bianconeri have been linked with an interest in the past, and are in search of a backup striker to Dusan Vlahovic who wouldn’t cost too much.
