Empoli midfielder Kristjan Asllani will sign a five-year contract with Inter and he will undergo his medical next week, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, the Albanian midfielder had his agreement put in place yesterday when his agents were at the Viale della Liberazione headquarters.

He will sign a five-year contract and will earn €800,000 for the first season and that will rise throughout the contract. He will undergo his medical examinations next week but there may be a slight delay to the official announcement.

That is because Martin Satriano needs to say yes to the loan deal with Empoli before the two deals can be announced simultaneously. Despite that, it seems that the Kristjan Asllani deal will be going through regardless.

Simone Inzaghi expects to have the midfielder at his disposal for the first day of training in July.
