Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi will sign his contract extension with the Nerazzurri either tomorrow or Wendesday.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the former Lazio coach is all set to put paper on a new deal taking him until 2024 with the option of a further season.

Inzaghi’s current contract, his first after being appointed to replace Antonio Conte in the role last summer, runs until the end of June 2023, but the club are confident that they want to commit to the 46-year-old for the future.

Inzaghi’s work over the course of his first season in charge left little doubt that he is the right man for the future, and the Nerazzurri have been poised to offer him a contract for some time.

Now, all that’s left is for the official signing to take place, and according to Di Marzio this will happen tomorrow or Wednesday.
