Romelu Lukaku will be in Milan on Wednesday where he’ll get his loan move to Inter from Chelsea wrapped up, and he could be back in training on July 11.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who outline the timeline for the 29-year-old’s move back to the Nerazzurri.

Inter have total agreement with Chelsea on a one-season paid loan deal worth €8 million plus €3 million in add-ons for Lukaku, and now all that remains is for the Belgian to complete all the formalities on the deal.

This will take place on Wednesday, where the medicals and other visits at the club will happen ahead of the striker signing his new contract, making his return to Inter after just a season away official.

Lukaku is still on vacation and resting up after a long club season and then the international break earlier this month, but July 11 could be the date for him to return to preseason training with the rest of the squad.
