Italian journalist Luca Marchetti has provided an update on the situation with Paulo Dybala’s prospective move to Inter, explaining that he currently has no other concrete offers in front of him.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster TMW Radio, Marchetti confirmed that the Nerazzurri’s move for the 28-year-old is on standby, and that for now there are no other offers for him although they could yet emerge.

Inter had looked very close to signing Dybala just a couple of weeks ago, but circumstances have changed particularly with the Nerazzurri’s signing of Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea which has made it difficult to free up space for the Argentine.

He is still a target for them, and the talks have hardly broken down, but for now the situation is at a standstill as the player waits for Inter to make another move.

At the moment, it is only Inter who are in the frame for him as no other clubs have made him an offer, according to Marchetti.

“At the moment Dybala is on standby with Inter and has no other offers,” he said.

He went on that “Today the  amount that AC Milan are ready to make wouldn’t be competitive, but if he were to lower his expectations, I think the Rossoneri will knock on the Argentine’s door.”
