Atalanta are not likely to be able to complete a deal for Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti until they sell Luis Muriel.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Lombard club would struggle to sign the 23-year-old while both Muriel and Duvan Zapata are already in the squad.
Pinamonti has no shortage of suitors for the summer transfer window, both within Serie A and also from abroad, but La Dea look to be among the clubs keenest on his signature, and the striker would also like a move to join them.
However, with Atalanta already having two senior forwards in their squad, a move for Pinamonti would not be straightforward and they would likely have to offload one of them, with Muriel being the likelier candidate.
It remains to be seen whether La Dea will be able to find a new club for the Colombian so that they can step up their pursuit of Pinamonti.
