Romelu Lukaku is set to join up with coach Simone Inzaghi and the rest of the Inter squad at the beginning of preseason training next month.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Belgian will waste little time in starting preseason training with the Nerazzurri.

Lukaku is in Milan where he will get the formalities out of the way on his loan move back to Inter from Chelsea, but the real work is set to begin in a couple weeks’ time as he starts gearing up for his return on the pitch.

The 29-year-old will be eager to take advantage of all the time he can re-acclimatizing to Inter after a season away, and getting properly acquainted with Inzaghi and with some new teammates like Hakan Calhanoglu and Denzel Dumfries.

Lukaku will re-commence his holidays after he signs his Inter contract, but once the team is back in preseason training he aims to get to work right away.
