Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito can attest that striker Romelu Lukaku is glad to be back with the Nerazzurri.

Speaking to Italian news outlet L’Interista in a post on their Instagram account, the 19-year-old explained that he crossed paths with the Belgian whilst they were undergoing medicals, and they chatted.

Esposito is all set for a move to Anderlecht on loan, with the young striker having now undergone the medicals to make the switch official.

Meanwhile, Lukaku has officially re-joined the Nerazzurri on loan after just a season away following his big money move to Chelsea last summer.

Esposito briefly chatted with his friend and former teammate whilst they were both at Inter’s medical centre, and according to him, Lukaku is very much looking forward to being back at Inter.

The 29-year-old had pushed and insisted on making the move after having made no secret of his desire to return and play for the Nerazzurri again, and now he’s back.

“I knew that he’d be here, but I wasn’t expecting to meet him,” Esposito explained of Lukaku. “We chatted for a while, he’s excited to be back.”
