Inter have officially announced that Konami is the club’s new global football videogame partner and will be present on the back of Inter’s training shirts.
The deal was announced by Inter on their website and it is a deal that will allow Konami to have a lot of visibility with the Inter brand.
It is a multi-year agreement and as well as being the videogame partner, Konami will be sponsoring the back of the Inter training kits worn by the men’s side, the women’s side and the youth sides. They will also feature on the pre-match kit worn by the players during the warm-up ahead of fixtures next season.
As well as the kit sponsorships, they will also have naming rights over the training ground that is home to the women’s team and the Youth Academy.
The facility will be called the ‘Konami Youth Development Centre in Memory of Giacinto Facchetti’.
Within the statement, Inter say that both the Nerazzurri and Konami are market leaders in their respective fields.
“This agreement signals the renewal of a collaboration between two global brands that are market leaders in their respective sectors, with a push for innovation, dialogue with new generations and an international vision, all of which are cornerstones of the club’s growth strategy.”
