Inter’s preseason training has officially begun today, with nine first-team players in attendance, whilst the rest of the squad are set to start joining between the tenth and the thirteenth of the month.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the seven players are back working with coach Simone Inzaghi along with a few other players, but that the players who have been on away on international duty will be given another week or so off.

Samir Handanovic, Andre Onana, Alex Cordaz, Danilo D’Ambrosio, Matteo Darmian, Roberto Gagliardini, Kristjan Asllani, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Robin Gosens have all returned to training today and are working to get themselves up to speed for next season.

Meanwhile, youngsters including brothers Franco and Valentin Carboni are included in the session, as are players expected to be sold permanently this summer such as Lorenzo Pirola and Andrea Pinamonti.

Lastly, there are some players who are expected to leave on loan during the transfer window, such as Dalbert, Valentino Lazaro, Zinho Vanheusden, Lucien Agoume, and Eddie Salcedo.
