Gleison Bremer is set to join Inter regardless of Milan Skriniar’s departure and he will be followed by Nikola Milenkovic or Manuel Akanji, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, Inter would have been making a move for Gleison Bremer even if the funds had been made available by the sale of a different player to Milan Skriniar.

That is because there was already set to be a defensive departure which was Andrea Ranocchia.

As well as the Brazilian, there will be another defensive arrival to make sure that the Nerazzurri have enough depth at the back as well as an improved overall pool of defenders.

The two names that Inter are pursuing are Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic and Borussia Dortmund’s Manuel Akanji.

Inter have been offered the Swiss player but he is currently behind Nikola Milenkovic on the list of priorities.
