Former Lazio goalkeeper Luca Marchegiani has said that Inter target Gleison Bremer is very ready to join a top club this summer, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview with Sky Sport, via FCInter1908, Luca Marchegiani showed how impressed he has been by Torino defender Gleison during the last couple of seasons in Serie A.

He believes that he has now shown enough to prove that he is ready to join a top team and that quality is why a team like Inter are chasing him.

“Clearly he is a player who has shown himself more in the last championship, we know that. In my opinion he is suitable for a top-class team, a team that knows how to set up, but can play upfront and be upfront.

“He has it in him, with Juric he did it very well. It was the step that allowed him to be coveted by the Nerazzurri.”

Inter have got personal terms wrapped up with the Brazilian but they are now trying to find an agreement with his club for the transfer which should be possible soon.

The other player that Luca Marchegiani discussed was Edin Dzeko who has been linked with a move away but does not seem interested in leaving.

“I’m not surprised he feels like that because he is well aware of his strengths, an intelligent boy. He knows, considering his age and his different characteristics from those of the other Inter forwards, that he will find his own space.

“It is to his credit that he accepts to start with these expectations. It will have to be seen if the others will accept the games he will play as a starter.

“Because a player like Dzeko cannot always be left on the bench, he has to play some games. Lukaku and Lautaro will have the same kind of approach. There are certainly many of that level.”
