Inter would not hesitate to pull the plug on negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain for defender Milan Skriniar if the Parisians do not get close enough to their asking price of €80 million.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri will hold out for an offer that comes very close to their valuation, and could decide not to sell the 27-year-old if PSG refuse to make an offer high enough.
The talks for Skriniar are heating up, and Inter are anticipating a big improved offer from PSG who are keen to finally get a deal wrapped up for the Slovakian after some weeks of negotiations.
However, there is no guarantee that the French champions’ offer will go as high as Inter want, and in this event it cannot be ruled out that they won’t accept the bid.
If Skriniar isn’t sold, the Nerazzurri will extend his contract past the end of June 2023, and then focus on making other sales such as that of striker Andrea Pinamonti this summer, postponing a big money sale to January or the beginning of next summer.
