Inter have a plan in place to get a deal wrapped up for defender Bremer from Torino even in the event that they are unable to agree a sale of Milan Skriniar to Paris Saint-Germain.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that there is no certainty that a deal will be done for Skriniar with PSG anticipated to make another offer today, but that Bremer can be signed regardless.

PSG should make another offer for Skriniar as the Parisians increasingly push for the 27-year-old’s signings, and Inter have made clear that they only want a straight cash deal after Abdou Diallo was the latest player to be rejected as part of a cash-plus-player bid.

The Nerazzurri’s asking price for Skriniar has always been clear at €80 million, but PSG’s newest offer may only reach €65-70 million, with add-ons included.

In this event, it is uncertain whether Inter would accept the French champions’ offer, and if not, whether a further improved offer would be forthcoming.

If Skriniar is not sold to PSG, Inter would be prepared to keep the Slovakian and would agree a new deal with him on wages of €5 million net per season.

In any event, the Nerazzurri anticipate being able to finance a deal for Bremer with sales of players such as Andrea Pinamonti and Lorenzo Pirola this summer in the event that a big money sale does not take place.

Nevertheless, such a big money sale would have to be made sooner or later, either in January or at the start of next summer.
