Inter remain committed to their asking price of €70 million for Milan Skriniar, which Paris Saint-Germain have not reached but are getting closer and closer to as they push to find an agreement for the defender.

This according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin, who spoke to the Twitch channel of Italian news outlet Calciomercato.it about the situation with the negotiations for the 27-year-old, as reported by FCInter1908.

PSG have yet to convince Inter with an offer for Skriniar, as the Nerazzurri are holding out for as high a fee as possible from the sale and the Parisians have not quite reached their asking price.

However, according to Biasin, things are moving in the direction of a sale, as the French champions think about improving their offer until they arrive at a bid that the Nerazzurri are happy with.

“Regarding Skriniar, I can tell you that the Inter executives met with PSG representatives last Friday, and they’re trying to find the right balance as far as a fee that would cause the Nerazzurri to relent,” Biasin explained of the situation.

He continued that “Their offer is still around €60 million, Inter are still holding firm on it reaching €70 million, which could be reached with add-ons.”

“PSG are stopping short of this amount for now,” he said of the Parisians’ offer, “but the feeling is that in the end an agreement will be found and Skriniar could be the player to be sacrificed this summer as it is known that Inter must do.”

“I assume it’s a matter of days with where the situation is, is my feeling,” the journalist added.
