Inter have a strategy in mind to keep hold of Milan Skriniar in the event that Paris Saint-Germain do not raise their offer to €65-70 million for him.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri will sell Andrea Pinamonti and Cesare Casadei and then postpone the big name sale rather than accept a lower offer from PSG.

Inter have long been firm on their asking price for Skriniar, and it is not clear that PSG will be willing to reach the magic number of around €65-70 million, possibly including add-ons.

Should the Parisians not make a high enough offer, the Nerazzurri are ready to walk away from negotiations rather than selling the Slovakian.

The sales of Pinamonti and Casadei would become the focus for this summer, while a big name sale would still have to take place to meet financial goals, but this could be in January or next summer prior to June 30, 2023.
