Inter are getting more aggressive in their strategy to sign Bremer from Torino so as to avoid the possibility of Juventus becoming serious in their chase of the defender.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are aiming to get things wrapped up in talks with the Granata because they know that the Bianconeri could try and swoop once Matthijs de Ligt is sold.

So far, Inter have had contacts with Torino Sporting Director Davide Vagnati through Bremer’s agent Paolo Busardo, but they are now aiming to have more direct talks, with a meeting scheduled for Monday.

The Granata are still holding out for €40 million and the Nerazzurri have yet to raise from their offer of €28-30 million, add-ons included, and the deal should be done on the basis of a loan containing a purchase obligation.

The inclusion of young midfielder Cesare Casadei going the other way could be important to making the deal happen, and the 19-year-old could be valued at around €7-8 million within the deal.

With the Bianconeri looking to be close to signing defender de Ligt to Bayern Munich, they will be keen to sign a replacement and Bremer is one of their main targets, so Inter want to make sure that they do not lose out on the Brazilian to a direct rival.
