Inter President Steven Zhang has stayed at the training ground with the team to reassure coach Simone Inzaghi and the club staff amid the upheaval surrounding the club’s pursuit of Torino defender Bremer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the President has been trying to keep calm amid the tumultuous period.

Inter could miss out on Bremer as Juventus are pressing to hijack a deal for the Brazilian, who has long been expected to make the move to the Nerazzurri due to a personal agreement formulated months ago.

The situation has caused tension within the Nerazzurri at the level of the directors and even the squad, whilst coach Inzaghi is frustrated in particular as he has long been waiting for Bremer to arrive.

Zhang has been alongside the team and Inzaghi, including having dinner with the squad and coach, to try and calm the waters as the club try to salvage their bid for the Torino defender.
