Inter President Steven Zhang still has no intention of participating in a bidding war with Juventus for Torino defender, but the inclusion of Cesare Casadei in a deal could still shift the balance.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the offer of Casadei on a permanent basis will be the key theme of talks between the Nerazzurri and Torino today for Bremer.

Inter are not likely to go much higher on their cash offer to the Granata, which has always stood at around €30 million, whilst the Bianconeri are ready to put forward €35 million plus €5 million.

Juventus are also prepared to offer the Brazilian around €5 million net per season to sign, higher than the €3.4 million net per season that he has had agreed with the Nerazzurri for some time.

Now, the Nerazzurri will focus on the inclusion of Casadei as a key part of the strategy, as they believe that Torino could still be convinced if they send the 19-year-old to Turin permanently on the right terms.

Inter value Casadei at €8 million and would expect a buyback clause in the deal, but they are now definitively moving towards offering Casadei permanently as part of the deal for Bremer rather than on loan.

Considering that the young midfielder is far and away one of the most highly-thought-of players from Inter’s youth academy over the past several years, this is a reflection of how much the club directors want to avoid losing out on Bremer.
