Inter have decided to keep Milan Skriniar and extend his contract unless Paris Saint-Germain go all-out and offer “crazy money” for his signature.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri will not even think about an offer below their €70 million valuation for the Slovakian, and that he will be handed a new deal until the end of June 2027.

Inter’s plans have been upended by the failure to land Torino defender Bremer who is bound for Juventus, and now that they do not feel that they have a suitable replacement for Skriniar they are unlikely to let the 27-year-old leave.

PSG’s interest in the defender has not exactly cooled, but it has now been two weeks since the Parisians last improved their offer.

The Nerazzurri have been holding out for the French champions to at least get closer to their €70 million valuation but now they wouldn’t even consider an offer that does not meet or exceed their valuation.

Now that the intention is to keep hold of Skriniar, the next order of business will be extending the 27-year-old’s contract, and he will be given a new deal worth €6 million net per season.
