A lack of time and sufficient replacements are the two reasons why Inter are likely to keep Milan Skriniar this summer, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been suggested by a report in Tuttosport today, there is now a fear that without being able to sign Gleison Bremer as a replacement, selling Milan Skriniar would be too much of a blow to Simone Inzaghi’s squad.

The fact certainly remains that if a bid of €70 million comes in for the Slovakian then Inter are going to accept it as they need the financial injection.

PSG are yet to raise their bid though and are about to sign Nordi Mukiele from RB Leipzig and may retain Presnel Kimpembe.

There is no ideal replacement available right now but also even if one did become available, it would likely be well into August and that means a rushed deal whilst the season is already underway which is not ideal.
