Robin Gosens is not likely to travel to France to face Lens due to the muscle issue he suffered in the friendly against Monaco, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, Inter are treating Robin Gosens with a measure of caution after he had to be withdrawn from the 2-2 draw with Monaco due to a muscle injury.

As a player who does not have a great track record when it comes to injuries, Inter are becoming wary of the German wingback’s reliability.

He is the first choice on that wing now that Ivan Perisic is not at the club and Inter need him to be as available as possible.

There is still a lot of hope and expectation that he will be involved in the following friendly against Lyon, but the game against Lens on Saturday will come too soon for the former Atalanta man.
