Atalanta now appears to be the only possible transfer destination for Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti but they must sell a player first, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by Corriere della Sera today, various clubs have not been able to make a deal work with both Inter and the player himself and now it is just Atalanta left.
Inter had agreed on a deal with Salernitana to buy the 23-year-old for €20 million but the striker said no as he wants to join a team higher up the table.
The situation with Monza has never quite been resolved which means that Atalanta are the team he is most likely to join.
First though, La Dea need to sell one of Duvan Zapata or Luis Muriel to make space for the Italian. Luis Muriel was linked with a move to Roma but that seems to have been pushed aside after the Paulo Dybala deal.
