There are two schools of thought at Inter when it comes to the possible sale of Milan Skriniar towards the end of the window, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been suggested by Corriere dello Sport, Simone Inzaghi and the footballing side of the operation are advocating for the Slovakian defender to remain at the club and sign a new contract with the Nerazzurri.

On the other side of things, there is president Steven Zhang who, whilst desperate to win the Scudetto again, knows that Milan Skriniar represents the best chance to meet the financial restrictions that have been put in place.

They could try and make the big sale at a later date but Steven Zhang would certainly be more comfortable if it came this summer.

Given that Gleison Bremer has joined Juventus, there is not currently an obvious option for Inter to replace Milan Skriniar so selling him would be a big risk.
