Inter will only be making a move for Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic if Milan Skriniar does get sold this summer, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Nerazzurri are happy with the starting defenders at the club and they do not want to spend €20 million on Nikola Milenkovic just for him to be a rotation option rather than a starter.

That is why they will only be making advances for him if Paris Saint Germain or Chelsea come in with a monster bid for Milan Skrniar and Inter are forced to accept it to help with the financial situation.

Inter are more focused on signing a cheap player to arrive as a backup for Stefan de Vrij and the man for that job could be Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi.

With over a month to go in the transfer window, the situation could change a lot.
