Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin has said that Milan Skriniar can expect to become the highest earner at Inter excluding Romelu Lukaku if he signs a new contract, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media today.

Speaking whilst on Tutto Convocati, via FCInter1908, Fabrizio Biasin discussed the issue of what Inter should be offering Milan Skriniar if they want him to sign a new contract with the club.

His future is still relatively unknown because Inter are likely to still accept an offer of €80 million if it were to arrive from a team like Paris Saint Germain or Chelsea during the final month of the summer transfer window.

In the meantime, focus has shifted to the financial details of the new contract that they will offer him if he does not leave. Fabrizio Biasin thinks he should be put on a salary that is only bettered by Romelu Lukaku’s.

“At the moment Paris Saint-Germain are offering €50 million + bonuses to reach a maximum of €60 million, so far from the €70 million Inter are asking for. If he were to stay at Milan, however, I think he could ask to be the highest paid player in the Nerazzurri squad, excluding Lukaku.”
