Chelsea are ready to raise their bid for Inter midfielder Cesare Casadei into the double figures, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, the Premier League side have not been put off by the fact that Inter rejected their latest bid for the young Italian.

The Blues made an offer of €8 million earlier this week for Cesare Casadei but the Nerazzurri rejected it. The next offer from Chelsea is expected to be between €10 million and €12 million which is much closer to Inter’s valuation of €15 million.

Inter would find it very hard to reject an offer of that amount for someone that does not even play a role in the first team and therefore does not need replacing.

Sassuolo are interested and would offer a buy-back until 2024, which Chelsea would not, but they cannot compete financially with Chelsea.
