Inter are ready to present their final 25-man squad lists to the Italian FA for Serie A and the Coppa Italia, and to UEFA for the Champions League for the upcoming season.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that there should be no restrictions on player selection for European competition due to a settlement expected with UEFA.

For the purposes of meeting “homegrown” quotas for UEFA, the Nerazzurri will list the likes of Nicolo Barella, Alessandro Bastoni, Danilo D’Ambrosio, and Matteo Darmian as being trained in Italian academies and Alex Cordaz and Federico Dimarco as Nerazzurri youth products.

As a side note, Bastoni is considered a youth product of Inter for the purposes of the Italian FA’s rules, but for European football he is not due to the time spent with Atalanta and Parma.

Goalkeeper Andrei Radu had been registered as a player from Inter’s academy last season but this campaign is on loan with Cremonese, whilst Andrea Pinamonti is also eligible in this sense but is expected to be sold before the season begins.
