Forward Alexis Sanchez will sign for Marseille by this weekend now that his departure from Inter has been confirmed.
This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the 33-year-old will not join the Ligue 1 side immediately but that he should make the switch within the coming days.
Sanchez’s departure from Inter has been confirmed as the Chilean’s contract has been terminated by mutual consent with one year left to run, and so for the time being he is technically without a club.
The 33-year-old has been in talks with Marseille and plans to join the French side, with the certainty about his future having been one of the key factors in his decision to accept the Nerazzurri’s offer of a contract termination with severance pay.
However, the move cannot happen right away for reasons related to the growth decree, but should happen by the weekend.
