Inter are hoping that they can postpone the sale of a big name player until after the end of the summer transfer window by bringing in a cash influx from sales of Andrea Pinamonti and Cesare Casadei.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri see the sales of the two younger players as key to a strategy to avoiding a sale of a top player from the first team as had been expected this summer.

Pinamonti is edging towards a sale of Sassuolo who are ready to meet Inter’s asking price, whilst the situation of Casadei could also be key to the Nerazzurri’s plans.

The 19-year-old has many suitors in Serie A, including the Neroverdi as well as Torino and Sampdoria, and the Nerazzurri would consider offers to buy him on a permanent basis rather than loan him if they contain a purchase option.

However, Chelsea are also very much interested in the young midfielder who shone for the Primavera team last season, and Inter would be willing to consider an outright sale for an offer worth €20 million if it helps them to avoid a painful departure like that of Denzel Dumfries or Milan Skriniar.
