Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume looks to be set for another loan move back in Ligue 1.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the 20-year-old’s likeliest destination will be in the French top flight although the club is not yet clear.

Agoume has had interest from teams within Serie A, with newly-promoted Cremonese having been very keen on loaning him, whilst reports also linked him with Bundesliga outfit Freiburg.

However, the Frenchman has rejected a loan move to Cremonese, possibly not keen on another experience on loan with a newly-promoted team in the Italian top flight following a loan spell with Spezia during the 2020-21 campaign which saw him receive limited playing time.

The 20-year-old is instead set for another loan move in Ligue 1, where he enjoyed a positive campaign as a regular contributor with Brest last time around, and will hope that he can continue his development along this path in his home country.
