Inter are waiting for an improved offer for midfielder Cesare Casadei worth about €20 million including add-ons.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri would consider an offer from the Blues that reaches their €20 million valuation with add-ons, although the Premier League side have yet to go above €8 million.

Chelsea are still some way away from meeting Inter’s asking price for Casadei and have had their initial €8 million offer rejected decisively, but they are still interested and likely to return with a new bid.

The Nerazzurri would consider selling to the London-based team rather than to an Italian club with a buyback clause, but only in the event that the Blues make a very significant offer.

If Chelsea are to offer the Nerazzurri around €15 million rising to €20 million with all add-ons included, this could be enough to convince the Nerazzurri who would welcome the cash influx given their financial targets.
